Lord God, I do pray for Akua and the rest of the congregation, that they would heal physically and emotionally, and that they would process their grief biblically. Please build them up in their faith and help them grow through this deep suffering. Give their new pastor wisdom to guide them spiritually through this trial.

Father, I pray for this deacon who witnessed such horrific persecution. I pray that his heart and mind will continue to heal. Thank you for giving Him the ability to let go of the vengeance. Continue to use him as a strong witness in spreading the gospel.

Thank you for the miraculous protection provided for Akua Kwami as not a single arrow pierced his body. Grant him peace and strength so that others may imitate his faith and also find peace. Amen.

Lord, how your heart is grieved by these attacks against your beloved children. Please wrap your loving arms around the bereaved family and friends of those who were killed and injured. Just as Jesus forgave those who killed him, may Akua and others have the grace to forgive. Please provide a new pastor to lead them and heal them all emotionally.

Lord, what a hard thing to undergo. What a hard trial to understand without Your eternal perspective. Let this precious congregation cling to Your word in the hope of Jesus that one day he will right all wrongs, and that evil will be destroyed through either repentance or destruction.
