Protect your servant Joseph. May he stand faithful in Your love. Despite the pain give Him hope in His Savior and trust in the Fathers love. Open the Word to him and let him see the glories of Christ there in.

May this prayer be acceptable to You. Jesus, please sustain the Eritrean Christians in prison. Give church leaders wisdom in shepherding their congregations at great personal risk. Help Christian organizations know how to respond and help in persecution. Thank You that the church is growing. Make a way for new believers to be discipled. IJNA

Oh Lord God, thank You for Joseph and his steady faith in Jesus Christ! I thank You that he realizes other brothers and sisters in Christ are standing with him and all the other believers in prayer and support. Dear Lord, it humbled me to hear of the faith of Your people in Eritrea. I thank you that Joseph is free now and pray that he will stay free from being hunted down and treated so inhumanly. Please rescue Your children physically and turn the hearts of the citizens to Christ. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit of courage. To Your glory in Jesus amen

Father, allow Joseph to continue to be a light for other Christians and those who are currently serving in prison under atrocious conditions. Keep them strong in their faith. Help all Christians threatened by the communist regime and its anti-Christian laws to remain strong. Please lift the veil from these persecutor's eyes. In Jesus's name. Amen

Lord I praise You for Joseph's faith and for how he is choosing to seek You and follow You despite what it costs him. God please bless Joseph for his unwavering belief even though being a Christian in communist ruled Eritrea is so difficult and an unknown number of fellow Christians remain in the horrible prisons, May your love and grace be a comfort to all those Christians in Eritrea in prisons, May they receive many prayers.
