Please removed hatred and bitterness and replace it with love and grace. Please remove confusion and replace it with clarity. Please provide for these kids and this community of Christians. Although You said that "In all things, God works together for the good of those who love You and are called for Your purpose.." we pray that Naomi and Joseph would realize that You are indeed working for their good future. Bleak it may seem now but with You in them, You will strengthen their faith & resolve in Jesus name.

Father, Please strengthen and encourage Perfecto's church and particularly his children as they grieve his murder. May truth and justice prevail. May Your love and grace prevail also. May the Christian community and Naomi and Joseph be able to forgive those who murdered Perfecto. May Naomi and Joseph find help and strength in Your love.

Please heal the hearts of Naomi & Joseph. May they trust & rely on You always. Help them to not live in fear or hopelessness because of what was done to their dad, but may they instead have hope, comfort, trust, & strength, as well as courage to live & speak for You. Jehovah Jireh, You are our provider,please provide comfort and strength for the family of Perfecto. Lord it is so difficult for a child to understand such wickedness. Convict these muslims, and all muslims who are so anti Christ to come to realize that Christ is the one that created them, and they need to give Him their hearts.

Father, our hearts break for Naomi and Joseph as they try to make sense of this senseless act of violence and death of their father. I pray that they will eventually understand their father's martyrdom was not in vain and his faithful witness to the end is a testimony to all Christians that we're called to be living sacrifices for You and Your Kingdom.
