Dearest Father, I marvel at the difficult situation your children face, & yet do not complain. I pray for the salvation of Khalda's family, & that you would restore some of his family relationships. Give him, Christian friends who will become his spiritual family. Continue to mature his faith in you. Make him into the man of God you made him to be.

Lord Jesus, I do ask that Khalda would continue to grow in You, and that he would receive the discipleship and training that he needs to be strong in faith. May his life be a strong witness of the reality of who You are, and may his family come to know and believe in You, even as they are separated from Khalda's witness.

Every day we cry out to God for the lives of the prisoners and their families. We ask Him to comfort them, provide clean water, food, warmth and medicine, but above all, release! He is with His people in their pain. This is a mystery and unsearchable, but somehow He remains Faithful. May He grant the prisoners perseverance and sustain them.

Dear Lord, I pray for Khalda, Please protect him and provide for him. I ask that you would shine Your spirit through him, that he can share the love of Christ and the Gospel with others. Father, lead and direct Khalda on this pilgrimage in faith in a dry and weary land. Jesus is the rock of Khalda's salvation, therefore he will not fear what man can do to him or be anxious because of life's turmoils, trials and tribulations. Continue to train Khalda in the school of suffering and enable him to grow in faith and the power of Your Word.

May they be reminded of 1 Peter 4:14--"If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you."
