Dear Jesus, I pray for the Christians who are holding to their faith. I pray that they would not be killed but would be released. I pray for those who denied Jesus under pressure. I pray they will turn back to You, Jesus. Soften the hearts of the leaders to be open to Jesus.

Oh Lord Jesus Christ, so many people are in trouble and turmoil around the globe! Please ask The Father to close down this age quicker, please help and heal and protect and deliver all of Your people!

Thank You for Your sustaining grace for those who remained faithful to You. May their testimony resound broadly. Thank You that they have been together in the trial. Comfort them according to Your great mercy. Bring conviction in the hearts of those who renounced their faith in Christ. And encourage other brothers and sisters in Christ not imprisoned.

Father, I pray for Your strength & sustaining power for these 6 brothers detained for the faith. Thank You for their resolution & faithfulness. Thank You for Your promise to provide for their needs. Please sustain them physically, mentally, emotionally, & spiritually. Encourage them in their isolation & despair. Help them not go hungry. Be their peace.

Lord, we pray for Laos, and for these village leaders who seeks to destroy faith in Christ. Change their hearts and cause them to be open to your truth. May these believers stand firm in their faith, regardless of the cost, and may those who have turned away repent and be restored to you. Give courage, power and boldness from your inexhaustible supply.

Father God, You see the plight of these 21 Christians in Laos and we thank You for those that were released and ask for the release of the additional six. Please grant these believers resolve and faith to stand firm in their faith and love these village leaders determined to pressure them into renouncing their faith. Fill them with boldness, in Jesus.

You are powerful, Lord Christ. To the one who overcomes You give the hidden manna; people in Laos who are born of God, You say they overcome. Your message is one of spiritual freedom. Thank You for our brothers and sisters in Laos and their willingness to follow You even in the face of vicious state persecution. I pray that You would strengthen them and the six remaining believers will be unbreakable. I pray that the 15 who renounced their faith will return to Christ and find that following Him is worth any cost.

Father God, we lift up these six believers holding firm to their faith and ask for provision of their physician needs of food and shelter and also that You would remove this mandate for them to recant their faith. Draw these other 15 back to Yourself and grant them boldness to stand up to the authorities in this village that insist on them recanting.

Father, may these six remaining believers continue to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. In spite of tremendous pressure to recant their faith in Jesus Christ, help each one to endure verbal and physical abuse and look to the author and finisher of their faith for encouragement. May the Holy Spirit strengthen them in the inner person.

Let this truth be brought to the minds of believers in Laos that they would hold fast and that those who have returned to spirit worship would turn back to Christ.

Lord, nobody likes to be hungry. Jesus was tempted 40 days in the wilderness, and He fasted. As You sent angels to minister to Him, send angels to strengthen these courageous six. Change the hearts of the police so they allow Your people food. Feed them on the Word of Christ and keep them faithful. Glorify Yourself when people see Your provision. IJNA

Heavenly Father, You know that it is very difficult for people to stand strong when their lives are threatened. Lord, please help us all remember that it is not this life that is important, but the life that we will live with You for eternity that matters. Jesus, please help these 6 people to remember this & the others to repent for their disbelief!

Lord the 6 believers who have been denied food must be weakened physically over these days. It is tempting to follow the others and save one's life. Let these 6 be rescued at the nick of time. By your power, break up this illegal detention and allow the 15 others to change their minds about their recent renouncement. Let your Word comfort, renew them.
