Father, I lift up the wife & children of my brother Pastor Philavanh. Please comfort them during this very dark time. Give them strength & sustain them through each day. Be near them. Remind them of the hope found only in You. Please bring the men who murdered him into repentance & salvation in You. Thank You for Pastor Philavanh's faithful service.

Father, please send "comfort laborers" to these people. For you said that you are "the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God" (2 Corinthians 1:4). Help them to grieve not like the world, but as one with hope.

Almighty God, I lift up to you these your dear grieving children with the tragic loss of Pastor Thongkham. As only you can, comfort deep within their hearts this loss.
