Father, thank you for the encouragement and care you have provided for our sister Gift through this horrible time of trauma she has experienced. We pray for her and widows like her that they would heal physically and emotionally from the pain of loss in Jesus' name, amen.

Father, we ask that you would bless and give encouragement to Gift as she navigates thru life in Nigeria. Help her to be bold in her witness of you. Help other Nigerian Christians as they stay strong for you and faithfully share the gospel message. In Jesus name.

My Lord please give Gift the consolation that only you can give her. Losing her husband must have been heart wrenching and then to be shot and deliver her baby in such grief? I ask you Lord to be her constant Companion and Consolation. May she receive all the help she needs from her brothers and sisters in Christ.

Father God, thank you for protecting the life of Gift and her baby. I pray that you will heal her heart and spirit as she goes through this time of grief. Thank you for those who minister to her needs. I pray that you will continue to provide resources for the front line workers to be able to care for those who suffer in Nigeria. I pray in Jesus' name.

Lord God, I pray for this precious sister, that You would continue to heal her physically and emotionally. I pray that she would drink deeply from Your word and trust in what You have said despite her suffering.

Thank You that the widows and orphans in Nigeria are not alone. You know and You see their suffering and will take care of them. Thank You that Gift found help and comfort from those whose love for Christ have also alienated them from their families. As you know Christians in Nigeria are under brutal attack from Muslims. We humbly request your intervention, moving upon these Muslims even in dreams so that they may see your love. Heavenly Father, i pray for the lives of so many widows, who are struggling. Because in you word you say you will take care of the orphans and the widows too. I pray that the work that the VOM is doing to help also the church of Christ in Nigeria, keeps being fruitful in all struggles that come from the opposite against the Gospel.
