Dear Lord, tear down the influence & power of the Hefazat in Bangladesh. Strengthen your people under persecution. Give them courage, power, & strength by your Spirit. Lord, please help these pastors to feel your presence, power, and protection in this harsh place. I pray that the threats mentioned in these letters are just a ruse and not followed out by these haters of believers. Please protect the believers and continue to be a strong witness for You. Heavenly Father, I pray for the church in Bangladesh asking for Your protection over Christians persecuted by the Hefazat-e-Islam extremist group. I pray the extremists will see the love of Christ in these believers and turn from Islam to Him.
