Bring the persecutors to repentance, counting the cost worthy of being followers of Jesus. Grant Farooq wisdom, courage, and encouragement.

Lord, Farooq, like you, is persecuted for his faith. Encourage him, strengthen his faith, give him joy and peace in his awful situation. Provide for him and his family somewhere they can be safe. Bless those who help them, and protect them. Send your Holy Spirit to anoint them. May they touch people and you bring healing and deliverance and hope.

You allow changes in circumstances to show Yourself mighty. Keep Farooq faithful to Your through all these changes. Convince him that You are working out everything for his good and for those he has witnessed to. Give them all opportunities to grow through adverse conditions. Change the hearts of the persecutors.

Lord Jesus, we ask for Your hand of protection on Farooq and his family, on his students and ministry partners. Give them encouragement and strength during this time of persecution. We ask that You turn the hearts of those persecuting Farooq and his family to the knowledge of Jesus. Amen.

Jesus, I pray for Farooq and his family. Thank you for his boldness to minister to others while in his job as an Imman. He planted many precious seeds. Water them, Holy Spirit. Nurture those seeds. Let there be great fruit from his ministry. Provide safe shelter for him and his family. Provide their food and education for the children.

Thank you for his bold witness to his students and I pray that Your work through him will bear fruit in their lives. I pray that you will keep him safe and that he will be a witness even to the ones attacking him.

Father, please build up Farooq and show him Your blessing in these hardships, show him fruit from them. Give him encouragement and strength to follow hard after You. Yes, please convict his attackers and open their spiritual eyes to their blindness and slavery. Even use Farooq to teach and be an example to them. In Jesus' Name.

Lord, you showed Farooq the way to yourself. Please continue to work in the hearts of those who came under his influence. Strengthen him and his family and hide them Your secret place of protection. Please work in the hearts and lives of his persecutors, stripping away the lies they believe and taking them from darkness to Your light.
